Pre construction is the opportunity to join a fellow group of investors who partner with a developer and finance the construction of a new or "proposed" condominium. Typically 20% of the total cost of construction is required by the lender to fund the loan. Once the developer secures the loan, construction usually takes between 2 and 2.5 years.
